There are brilliant filmmakers who lack the training and on-ground understanding of how depolarizing works; they need to “depolarize within” first. And there are excellent moderators & facilitators who understand the work of bridging but do not understand the power of media or how to leverage it. I have years of entertainment experience telling stories through visual media as well as years of facilitating conversations that have helped people see their common humanity and find common ground (yes, there is a difference between the two things).
