Them People” or “Why are THEY so stupid?” is an animated – magical reality – musical – web-series created by Swati Srivastava. Through the eyes of protagonists Zoey and Kurt; a young couple whose marriage is on the rocks due to their deeply-held political ideologies, the viewers come to see what makes a “marriage” last or fall apart. Zoey and Kurt’s families, who also can’t stand each other due to political differences, don’t want their children to divorce each other either; for one set of parents marriages are made in heaven, for the other divorces impoverish people.

Part “Big Mouth”, part “Zoe’s Extraordinary Playlist”, “Them People” is the series that finally helps us laugh at our political differences and rediscover our common humanity as a flawed, irreverent, heart-broken nation of people.
